Ga2O3
PL + Raman

Using the high power 405 nm excitation, an electronic Raman signal from Ir 4+ was obtained in the same spectrum as the Cr3+ emission. This reveals information regarding the electronic states of the iridium and chromium defects. The iridium signal not available at common Raman wavelengths because of resonance conditions, but Klar’s kit system facilitated obtaining this exotic Raman measurement in addition to the PL.
