Kits for Advanced Studies

Laboratory equipment including a blue bag labeled INTEC, a black and gray machine labeled Klar Scientific, and white devices with digital displays, used in scientific research or testing.

Low Temperature Kit

Klar’s universal optical design allows the owner to expand capabilities with a variety of kits. The low-temperature kit provides spectroscopic microscopy down to 80 K.

Peak shifts of 0.1 meV can be detected, providing a sensitive probe of defects and sample uniformity.

Variable-temperature (80-400 K) spectroscopy from the near-IR to the deep-UV (1700-266 nm).

Scanning produces photoluminescence (PL) or Raman maps with micron resolution.

Deep UV 266 nm Free Space Laser Kit

Scientific equipment from Klar Scientific including a large black box, a control panel with buttons and switches, and various smaller devices inside a carrying case.

The Mini Pro with the deep-UV kit provides PL spectroscopy at 266 nm excitation, enabling studies of ultra-wide bandage semiconductors such as Ga2O3 and AIN.

Mapping the position of the PL band (eV) of B-Ga2O3 enables sensitive detection of defects such as dislocations.
